What is the Reality 100 club?
The Reality 100 club is a group of individuals who contribute regularly to our work of helping to change the lives of disadvantaged young people throughout Scotland. When you join, you will receive a Reality badge and regular updates alongside the Reality newsletter.
Why 100?
Our aim is to have at least 100 people supporting us in this way. Individual giving helps us to be slightly less reliant on grant-making trusts and gives us a small regular income that can be used for any urgent needs that arise.
How much should I give – and how often?
It’s entirely up to you, and you can give monthly, quarterly or yearly.
How do I join?
If you're thinking of giving regularly to Reality, simply print off the Reality 100 Membership Form, fill it in and send to the address at the foot of the form. We’ll do the rest.
What would Reality do with the money?
With 100 people giving £10 a month, we could:
- recruit and train 10 new volunteers
- pay for visits to social workers/ home visits to campers
- attend conferences/training to keep Reality up to date
- book stands at exhibitions and publicise our work to social workers and churches
Membership is entirely in your hands - you can cancel at any time just by contacting either us or your bank.
To current 100 Club members:
At the next AGM we will be looking for a new Chairman and Secretary for Reality. We really appreciate the commitment that Reality club members make to the work, and would ask you to consider becoming further involved as a Trustee. Please contact the office if you would like to talk about this further.
